We traveled from the parking area to the summit, rode around and then back to the parking area
Weather:
Pretty fair, clear skys, low 30′s some light snow
Wind:
gusty winds all day
New Snow: 6-12″
Snow Density: Medium
Avalanche Activity:
When approaching the jeep trail cutoff below the summit we noticed that the hillside below the road had slid to the bottom all along the horseshoe bend area, probably a 14-20 inch break with the slide stopping at the very bottom. Slope was quite steep and showed some evidence of sliding across the road then starting the larger slide below the road. We were at about 6500′
